During their visit, Her Royal Highness Princess Anne and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence received an update on the role of New Zealand’s agricultural and pastoral showing movement, and the sheep and wool industry

As part of her day-long stay in the Garden City, Her Royal Highness and husband Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence spent time at the Canterbury Agricultural Park, the home of the Canterbury Agricultural and Pastoral Association.

While there, Princess Anne unveiled a plaque in the Canterbury Agricultural Park Show Saviour garden. It commemorates generous donors who supported the Canterbury Agricultural and Pastoral Association during the lean years of the Covid pandemic.
